Power Attack is actually good on those Scythe Warrior bars.

put warrior's endurance in there and you won't have to spec wind prayers, and you'll get the same amount of energy gain per hit with your standard warrior energy regen. If not more. That and it's not an enchantment that can be stripped, it's not interruptable, and it's a longer duration meaning it's more efficient. Endurance is better, period.

on quivering blade it says that you suffer from dazed for 8 seconds if it is blocked... isnt that a bad thing...? [quivering blade]
Much <3
WNxMrESlayer

cause it was mostly used with plague touch to send the daze to foe - i.e caster blocks then gets dazed :P thats how it worked...
<<<how does the skill work now its revamped on a hero war? anyone know???

Ah ok I understand now... thanks for showing me the update nightow and i guess now its basically the same but with -plague touch so you can still run a W/Mo W/P W/E W/A or whatever and theres no negative side to using that skill as it is no longer disabled if blocked and you never get dazed by it.
Imo this skill has just gotten a lot more niiicer.
Thanks for helping me understand

Meh. I liked the old QB for its interaction with [Plague Touch] against Monks who thought they would be safe behind their [[Guardian] or [[Aegis]. The new QB does a better job at general pressure, but the fun trickery part is gone - if it gets bloxxed, you be fuxxed.

Been running this in AB last 2 days, seems pretty good in action.
[build=OQoiExp8YXKsdFmi0VoEU8vA]
Normally, I'd take [frenzy]/[rush] but to get past blockway I take [Wild Blow] so [rush] is out of the question then. That's why I threw in BoA and Sprint. Blockway can still be a pain when you're trying to fend off layers of blocking from rangers/monks/etc but, meh. It's only AB.

Blockway is also beaten by knowing how to pull their stances/prots out by target swapping. I'd still go with frenzy/rush and bring protector's strike (1/3 activation time owns). Bulls->Pious->Power Attack->Protector=spike, PvE I'd bring Aura of Holy Might cause its makes your damage go through the roof.
Quivering blade is counter intuitive, giving someone daze while running just gives them more of a reason to run, more likely you should've bulls'd them that time and unload an adrenaline spike.
Battle rage is still not so great because IAS>the adren gain, only way I would use it would be in a sword bar where you don't need an elite to kill. It's a glorified rush with 33% speed boost(+8%) and the double adren.
Defy Pain...I'm not going to bother to tank tbh.

Works well, can keep some1 chain kd for 25 seconds straight while keeping my attack speed at about 1 second.

You're better off just killing something than KDing it for 25 seconds. KD's are used to shutdown something while you beat it to death, not to just keep it KD'ed forever.
Smart use of KD's > Spamming them pointlessly.

it still does heavy dmg, if i kd something then it isnt doing anything
obviously if enemy gets protted/stanced or another enemy does something u dont like then u can move to another target

I'm normally against taking up your elite just for self-defense, but Defy Pain looks interesting, especially in low-end PvP.
I could definitely see 6 Defy Pain wars doing well in PvE.

Defy Pain won't do well in PvP...its just built for PvE tanking.
If teams start to use this skill it will just mean that Mesmers bring [sympathetic visage] for more than just the energy drain. And lets not forget [Soothing Images].
Leave Defy in PvE.

Tanking shit works in AB, lol. Being in the Strength line, still allows for a very killy bar. If someone must be Wammo, this is the Elite I want him to have.

Decent PvE damage.
[protector's strike][mystic sweep][eremite's attack][victorious sweep][save yourselves][warrior's endurance][lion's comfort][sunspear rebirth signet]
Decent damage and surprisingly good SY spam. No IAS as it contains a lot of fast activating attacks and I couldn't find one that fitted well.
I used Warrior's Endurance before anyway but it is nicer now to have some more options.
Haven't used any other buffed elite really, Quivering Blade looks worse now then before its more expensive but with a crappy effect that is pretty pointless. Never been a fan of battle rage. Defy Pain, I wouldn't do myself the insult.

[Defy Pain] might see some use in PvE farming builds, more used for the damage reduction than the actual HP boost. Most Monks that I know of give me a lecture when I use either Endure or Defy, even in PvE, because it makes their job that much harder should it wear off... big... damage... spike... not good.
